What is a Slice?
A sliced shot starts out to the left of the target and then dramatically curves back to the right of the target (for a right-handed golfer, and the reverse for a left-handed player).
For most golfers the cause of a slice starts on the downswing. As you can see below, the club on the downswing has got away from the golfer causing the club to cut across the golf ball that will impart an unwanted side spin.
Correcting your Slice
Simply adjust the SliceStoppa rod so it is parallel with the golf club of your choice. Then practice hitting shots while swinging the club under the rod. This will encourage a more rounded golf swing (as opposed to a steep slice swing), helping to produce longer straighter shots.
